Steve Oliver - Director
Steve has worked as a counselor at summer camps for many years and he has been the director at Caravel Day Camp for 8 years. Steve teaches Biology, Honors Biology, Anatomy, and A.P. Biology at Caravel. He is the upper school coordinator at Caravel.

Mary Mills
Mary has been at Caravel Day Camp for 8 years as both a counselor for the 5 and 6 year olds as well as the camp nurse. Mary is the camp mom, who makes sure that everybody is safe and well taken care of. Mary is also the camp cook, who oversees many of the treats we provide at camp. She also opens up the camp and closes the camp down as she supervises extended care. Mary has 34 years experience as an R.N., and 16 years as the Caravel Nurse.

Patsy Jenson
Patsy is the counselor for the 5 year old age group. This will be Patsy's third year at camp. She has worked with children for 18 years at Caravel, and it shows as she keeps her campers busy each day. Patsy also works in the lower school library at Caravel.

Nicole Sampson
Nicole is the counselor for the 6 year old age group. This is her second year as a counselor at camp. Last year she worked with the 8-year olds. She is going to be a senior majoring in elementary education.

Stephanie Kane
Steph is also a counselor for the 6 year old age group. This is her second year at camp. Steph has worked with the campers from 5 to 8 years old. Steph is a sophomore majoring in Neuroscience at the College of William and Mary.

Greg Ciotti
Greg is the counselor for the 7 year olds. This is his second year as a counselor for this age group. Greg has worked for in the aftercare program at Caravel for the past five years. Greg is majoring in Psychology at the University of Delaware.

Karen Swank
Karen is the counselor for the 8 year old age group. This will be her first year as a counselor at camp. Karen has worked with children for over 20 years in day care, summer camp, and school. She is going into her 10th year as a teacher's assistant at Caravel. Karen currently works with 3rd grade at Caravel.

Rob Steffen
This will be Rob's third year at Caravel Day Camp. Rob has been the soccer instructor and the lunch man at camp, as well as being a counselor for the 9 year old age group. Rob will be a junior at Susquehanna University where he runs Cross-Country and Track and Field teams.

Sarah Painter
This will be Sarah's 5th year at Caravel Day Camp. Sarah started out as a C.I.T. for the 7 and 8 year old age group. She has been a counselor for the past two years for the 9 and 10 year olds. Sarah will be a junior at Neumann College.

Chad Mills
Chad has worked at Caravel Day Camp for 8 years. Chad started as a C.I.T. with the 5 and 6 year olds. He has also been the soccer instructor, lunch man, and has been a counselor for the older age groups the past two summers. Chad currently attends the University of Delaware, where he serves as the mascot for the Blue Hens. Chad works both before and after care.

Kelly Hudson
Kelly has been the music teacher at camp for 8 years where she teaches the 5 and 6 year olds. They sing, dance, and learn to use a variety of instruments. Kelly is a music teacher at Caravel.

Sam Stant
Sam will be joining the camp for her second year. She was the computer counselor, and responsible for lunch last year. Sam also works in after care at camp. Sam will be attending the University of Delaware in the fall.

Alisa Worton
Alisa works with the 5 and 6 year olds in before and after care at camp. This is her second year at camp. Alisa will be entering her sophomore year at Penn State University in the fall.

Jessica Hallstrom
Jessica is working as a counselor for after care this year. This is her first year at camp. She works with all of the age groups at camp. Jessica will be a senior at Caravel Academy in the fall.

Katy McCarthy
Katy has been at camp for 8 years as a camper, C.I.T., and as a Junior Counselor. She has been with the 5 year old group for the past two summers.

Maddie Marsh
Maddie has been at camp for the past 6 years. She has been a camper, C.I.T., and is now a Junior Counselor. She has worked with a number of different age groups. This summer she is working with the 5 year olds.

Becca Bucci
Becca has been at camp for the past 6 years as a camper, C.I.T., and a Junior Counselor. This is Becca's second year working with the 6 year old age group.

Emily Cook
Emily has been at camp for 8 years as a camper, C.I.T., and as a Junior Counselor. Emily will be working with the 7 year old age group this summer.

Carissa Carlson
Carissa has been at camp for 8 years as a camper, C.I.T., and as a Junior Counselor. Carissa works with the oldest age group.

Will Cook
Will Cook has been at camp for 8 years as a camper, C.I.T., and as the soccer instructor. Will is attending the University of Delaware in the fall.
