Q: Which days of the week are field trips scheduled?
Most of the field trips are scheduled for Friday. However, there are a few scheduled on Tuesday.
Q: Which days of the week are swim days scheduled?
Swim days are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The bus leaves the camp around 10:00 and returns around 12:15.
Q: I would like to sign up for 3 days, but would prefer different days than T, W, R. Is this possible?
Yes, you may usually choose the three days of the week which are best for you or your child. Contact Us to confirm.
Q: Is it possible for my child to be placed in the same group as a friend who is a different age?
We are willing to accommodate this request as long as we feel that the age differences would not place your child in unsafe activities.

Q: Do I need to pack a snack for my child?
We offer snacks to the 5 and 6 year old age groups during the morning. The snacks usually consist
of pretzels, goldfish, graham crackers, or Ritz crackers. Snacks are provided to all campers during
aftercare. The 5 and 6 year olds will receive a snack option different from the snack they had earlier
in the day. All other age groups will receive snack sized portion of cookies. Water is also provided to campers during snack time as well.
Q: Does my child need to bring money to the swimming pool?
There is a snack bar at the pool which offers a variety of snacks. The 5 and 6 year old age groups can bring
money for a snack only on Thursday. We feel that this allows these campers to enjoy more time swimming, and
enjoying time with their friends at the pool. All other age groups can go to the snack bar after 11:00.
Q: Does my child need to bring money for field trips?
All parts of the field trip are covered by Caravel Day Camp. You should send money if your child
would like to have money to purchase anything that might offered at the field trip location.
Q: How are children grouped together?
The children are grouped according to grade level.
